New Enrolments for 2020

New learners to Linwood College for 2020 who have not yet enrolled, please phone the school on 982

0100 from 21 January to complete enrolment forms and arrange an enrolment interview appointment.

Starting the 2020 Year

Tuesday 21 January

The school’s office opens. Whānau and caregivers may phone to arrange appointments for enrolment

interviews.

The Uniform Shop will be open:

6-8 January 9 am - 12 noon

16-17 January 9 am - 2 pm

20-24 January 9 am – 2 pm

27 January 9 am – 2 pm

29-31 January 9 am – 2 pm

Thursday 30 January and Friday 31 January

All Year 12 and 13 learners must confirm their course for 2020 in the library on either Thursday 30

January or Friday 31 January.

Friday 31 January

All new learners (Year 7-13) start this day. New learners are asked to be at school by 8:45 a.m. We will

begin with a mihi whakatau (welcome) at 9 am.

All new learners are asked to meet by the playground at the school entry.

The mihi whakatu (welcome) will be followed by kai where whanau can meet the staff.

New Year 7-10 learners will finish at approximately 10:30 am.

Monday 3 February

Normal school timetable. School finishes at 2:55 pm.

Tuesday 4 February

Normal school timetable. School finishes at 2:55 pm.

Thursday 6 February

Public Holiday for Waitangi Day.

Daily Classes

Classes in 2020 start at 8:45 am. Learners are to be at school by 8:35 am daily. Every school

day finishes at 2:55 pm except for Wednesday which finishes at 2:30 pm.
