Accommodation and Student Care

Linwood College has many years of experience caring for International students. Linley Snook the Director of International Students is always available to offer guidance and discuss any matters of concern and Irene Marks our full time homestay coordinator is always available to assist students with all personal matters and homestay issues.

The International Department  of Linwood College offers a caring  environment where students are supported while they  progress with their studies and this ensures they are able  to enjoy their International experience. Linwood College is well known for its caring staff and attention to individual needs.

Students under 18 should have a guardian who is able to communicate with the school, the Homestay family and the parents.

Students must have a comprehensive medical and travel Insurance policy. The school is able to organise this for the student.

The school has a nurse and a visiting doctor to attend to medical problems.

Guidance counsellors are also available and we are able to put students in contact with a counsellor in their native language if requested or advised.

Students have access to the Internet and Email.

There is a full range of extra curricular activities including sports, music and drama which students are welcome and encouraged to participate in.
