This course provides a two-year pathway in science at Level 1. It provides a foundation of science literacy and capability for students to apply to everyday life by engaging them in practical situations through which they explore some of the key science ideas and concepts. 

Prerequisites: One Level 1 Science course is compulsory. 

In this course all of the standards are assessed internally (26 credits over two years). Students need to gain 12 credits at Level 1 to be eligible for entry into a Level 2 Science course; including 8 literacy credits.
