Enrolment

Year 9 – Enrolling at the start of the Year 9 academic year

  1. By the end of Term 2 all enrolment forms should be completed and forwarded to Linwood College.
  2. All students entering Year 9 will be academically tested in Literacy and Numeracy.
  3. Senior Linwood staff interview the students present teacher.
  4. All students entering year 9 have an acceptance interview with senior staff and their parents.

Junior Students - Enrolling at Linwood during the year

  • Students wanting to enrol at the college during the year must first contact Mrs Fraser (see details below).
  • Students will have an interview with Mrs Thrupp (Deputy Principal – Pastoral) and their parents/caregivers.
  • All junior students who enrol after the start of the academic year will start in our transition to Linwood programme before attending classes.

Senior Students

  • Students wanting to enrol at the college during the year must first contact Mrs Fraser (see details below).
  • Students will have an interview with Mrs Thrupp (Deputy Principal – Pastoral) and their parents/caregivers. Students must bring NCEA results to this meeting.
