Junior Programmes

Junior Programmes are for Year 9 (12 and 13  year old students) and Year 10 (13 and 14 year old students).

At Year 9 and 10 Students study subjects which are part of the Essential Learning Areas of the National curriculum. These subjects include:

Year 9 Programme

All students in Year 9 take English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Health, Core Art, Food Technology, Information and Communication Tecnhology, and Core Music. In addition they choose two optional subjects from Art, Fabric Technology, French, Japanese, Maori, Graphics, Metal, Wood, Music and Theatre Arts.

Year 10 Programme

All students in Year 10 take English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education and Health, In addition they choose two optional subjects from Art, Economics, Fabric Technology, Home Economics, French, Japanese, Maori, Digital Technologies, Graphics, Metal, Wood, Music and Theatre Arts.
